Environment
8x8 empowers any organization to connect individuals and teams to collaborate faster and work smarter from any location on the planet.
Our cloud-native communications platform allows organizations to stay connected and serve customers while reducing or eliminating resource-intensive on-premises hardware. Our unified communications, contact center, and CPaaS API solutions are delivered through our cloud-native platform, enabling “work-from-anywhere” and hybrid work policies. This creates opportunities for organizations to eliminate resource-intensive on-premises hardware and reduce their facilities and carbon footprints. Our global network delivers high availability, security, and data privacy, giving businesses the flexibility and confidence to seamlessly adjust working arrangements if necessary as they respond to global events, natural disasters, and other potential disruptions.
Our commitment to the environment extends to our internal operations in countless ways. For example, we encourage employees to reduce waste and support recycling and composting wherever possible. We also partner with cloud providers who have committed to Net Zero targets, and we offer hardware recycling for our telephone handsets. Importantly, we have achieved ISO 14001 certification for our operations in the UK and France and initiated the certification process for our headquarters in the U.S.
